Aqualumiere Lipsticks

These are my favourite lipsticks (okay you caught me...one of my favourite lipsticks - I also ♥ the Paul and Joe ones). They are soft, smooth, creamy and smell great (sounds like I'm describing a latte, lol). The packaging is also great - no they aren't pink, they don't have funky graphics, or cutesy prints. They are just black, square, with a gold trim - utterly chic and grown up. My favourite colour is Portofino which is a deep burgundy with a slight (i.e. unbelievably subtle) gold iridescence. One swipe gives a light sweep of creamy colour, two swipes and you get incredibly opaque coverage...love love love.
Le Petit Pinceau Touch-Up Brush

The Little One is on my birthday list. Every time I venture to the Chanel counter I molest and stroke this cute little brush. I have heard from USers that they find this brush scrappy and rough. All I can conclude is that the ones manufactured outside of France (i.e. the ones available outside of Europe) aren't as great - because nothing is softer than this brush
NB My thoughts were confirmed when I saw the promotion pic for the US one - the handle is totally different.
The only thing that has put me off is the price - but in reality, for a good quality brush it is entirely reasonable. It is tiny, but ultra dense, ultra soft and blends like a dream (something tells me if I spend any more time hanging around various chanel counters I'm going to get a restraining order).
Khol

This is the only product that I can be convinced to buy again and again. I must be on my fifth, or maybe sixth. I have tried so many kohl pencils, but this is the only one that I have ever returned to.
Texture wise it is soft, creamy, smooth and long-lasting. You can easily blacken your waterline with this - you can even tightline with it (though I have to admit I prefer gel liners for that). You can sharpen it to a point to do graphic lines, or blunt it a little and do thick smokey eyes. You can even attack your lines with a pencil brush, and smooth it out to cover your lid as an eyeshadow.
The colour is black, I mean really black. All this reminds me I have only got a little stub left of mine - I need to go out and buy my sixth (or perhaps seventh) of this pencil wonder. Can you tell? It's love!
