Lip Tints To be honest, I didn't want to like these - something sets me against B Never - I think it's the smell of the shop (like a hippy's crotch) - enough to give anyone a headache. However, I was very surprised by how much I liked this. The smell was 'normal' being rose based (and I looove roses), and the colour I have 'Bodice' is a very sweet, intense bright pink with shimmer. I've tried it by itself, under lipbalm and also under my MAC Rocking Chick and Malibu Barbie, and in all those combinations it was great, and very long lasting. Unlike other liptints I've tried, this is thick - almost like a gloss, but not shiny. It takes a moment to work it into the lips - but it quickly dries down. I may be forced to venture back to the shop. |

Cream Eyeshadow This one surprised me too. I expected the tube to contain a doe-foot, or a thick brush. Instead there was a very nice, firm - eyeliner brush. Now, I have never been able to master liquid eyeliner, and I've always coped out and used gel - as the liner brushes are usually too soft, and go everywhere. This however, was easy peasy - the brush went exactly where I wanted it to (cat-eye flick actually). I've tried 'Beast' which is a very intense pigment rich turquoise - although much more blue than green. Like the liptints, this has a rose smell (very non-offensive, though intense). Considering I've used it twice in one week - I think I may rather love this. |
