Dandelion Powder I ♥ this so so so much. It is the first (and only) blusher I have ever finished (yes, really - finished - not just hit pan, but actual scrabbling in the corners for the last little bit of powder). It is a soft, pretty pretty pink - with ever so slight mauve tones. It is very sheer, so can be used in the same manner as the MAC beauty powders (i.e. lightly all over the face for some colour) or concentrated on the cheeks for a natural flush. Surprisingly, the brush it comes with is also excellent. I actually kept mine, it's super soft and doesn't shed - bonus! This is a must buy for palees like me - as it is practically impossible to overdo this. Also excellent for people with sallow skin wanting to add some subtle pink tones. |

Benetint I have mixed feelings towards this product - I love it on my cheeks - once you get the hang of blending super quickly, it provides a reddish pink glow that goes perfectly with tanned and winter white skin. However, on the lips it is just gross - and this from a person who loves red lips - it just doesn't look right. That being said - it does provide a reasonable base for lipstick (as with most liptints), so as to give some colour once the lipstick is worn off. |

Highbeam There are so many dupes of this product, one wonders whether it is really worth buying the original. However, this lightly pinked, pearlescent, creamy highlighter is great. You can dot a tiny bit for a subtle hint of glow, layer it for that super sheen, mix it with you foundation for a light all over iridescence, apply it under your foundation for 'inner glow', work it round your mouth for beestung lips and and and....the list goes on. If only it didn't come with that annoying little brush - come on benefit, do a squeeze tube - or a pump or something. |
